How to do it โ step by step
Twist out the cylindrical filter at the bottom of the dishwasher and rinse under warm water, using a soft brush to remove food debris. Also remove the spray arms (usually unscrew counterclockwise) and use a toothpick or small brush to clear clogged holes. Run an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar in the bottom rack. A dirty filter is the #1 reason dishes come out cloudy or smelling musty, and can cause premature pump failure.
