How to do it โ step by step
Check that the pressure gauge needle is in the green zone. Inspect the pull pin and tamper seal โ both should be intact. Look for dents, rust, or leaks. Check that the nozzle is unobstructed. Make sure all household members know the location of extinguishers and how to use them (PASS: Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep). Extinguishers in kitchens should be Class K; living areas need ABC dry chemical. Replace if over 12 years old or if gauge is out of range.
